Thank you everyone for all your advice. In the end, we found ourselves at Ferndale gravel placing an order for a truckload of 3/4″ crushed limestone which is supposed to be about 8 yards. The bill was just a little over $300 and we will place another order for about 2 more yards the next time we are down which should be enough to cover all the areas we had hoped to.

All in we should be at about $400 give or take a few dollars which is very reasonable. Spreading out the gravel was a really good workout though. Thank you for the suggestion to have the truck spread it out down the driveway as it really made that part super easy. The hardest part was all the shoveling into a wheel barrow to take it down to the backside.

For what it is worth, Diggin’ Jim had quoted me $1500 to do all this for me.

    Cheers,

Hello Illa, Yes, that helps, I recall passing them when I drive in. Would you have an idea of what I should be looking at for cost?

    Thank you,

    Sanders
