BEER TASTING EVENT
Thanks to everyone who attended our first Beer Tasting Saturday October 22, 2016! We had a lot of fun organizing the event and hope you all enjoyed yourselves as much as we did. A big thank you to our team Barb, Karen and Phyllis for helping organize this event and to my daughter Adrienne and her team Aynsley and Cliff for doing the food preparation, Cherish for doing a great job of serving and Cinda for helping set up. The Glen staff went above and beyond again to make it all happen for us and kept the rain away. A special thanks also to Ian from Aslan Brewing Co., Mari from Chuckanut Brewery and Illana from Boundary Bay Brewing who helped in so many ways to make this event happen. The Beer tasting was yet another learning curve, being very different dynamics than the wine event. Thanks Dave and Ron for taking on the task of pouring beer for Boundary Bay and Robin for helping at the registration table. Thanks again Margie for putting your talent and time into providing us with an incredible collection of beautifully arranged flowers and unique beer steins. We are pleased to announce that we exceeded our expectations yet again and had 112 beer drinkers come out and taste the local beers. It’s wonderful once again to have the opportunity to connect with our local community, as well as connecting our own community here at The Glen. We are looking forward to the next event perhaps in the Spring!
